// Repair Process
We aim for the repair process to be as seamless as possible for you, while ensuring your vehicle is fixed to the manufactures specifications and back on the road as quickly as possible.
Prior to repairs, find the below information to assist you throughout the repair process.
// Parts
Significant parts delays are not unusual and we do our best to ensure all parts that are needed, are identified during the estimating process, although this is not always possible. Parts ETAs (estimated time of arrival) are known to fluctuate, some more significantly than others.
We appreciate your understanding as we try our best to obtain your part/s as quickly as possible, for your repairs.
// Parts

// Personal Items
Remove all personal items from the car, including the boot / tray / tool boxes. Kate Presnell Bodyworks will not be responsible for any items lost or damaged.
// Interior Protection
We will fit your vehicle with the following covers – car seat, floor, steering wheel, gear stick and hand brake.
// Fuel
Ensure your vehicle has sufficient fuel to move around our yard, between workshops and road test if necessary. If Kate Presnell Bodyworks need to supply fuel, the cost of the fuel plus an $80 surcharge will be charged. We will rely on the label found within your fuel cap to identify your fuel type. Kate Presnell Bodyworks will not be responsible if the fuel is incorrectly labelled.
// Full Vehicle Check
Ensure your vehicle has sufficient fuel to move around our yard, between workshops and road test if necessary. // Cleanliness
Ensure your vehicle is clean, tidy and free of debris.
// Drop off Time
Vehicles may be dropped off the evening before, prior to 5:30pm by arrangement
// Payment
If you have an Excess payable to Kate Presnell Bodyworks, an invoice will be emailed to you the week before your repair booking. All accounts are to be paid in full before we can release your vehicle.
Payment Options include:
Bank transfer (cleared prior to collection), cash and EFTPOS.
Finance Options Include:
Zip Money, Zip Pay and Afterpay
A deposit is required on all private estimates. Once paid, this allows the parts to be ordered. Progress payments may be required throughout the repairs. We can arrange a payment plan specific to you.
We do not accept Cheques or AMEX.
At Kate Presnell Bodyworks we offer our own fleet of Loan Cars. Please enquire with us prior to your booking to secure, as they are frequently booked out in advance.
